Service Description

This 30-minute consultation is the starting point for your Health Care Power of Attorney — one of the most important legal documents you can have in place. A Health Care POA gives a trusted person the legal authority to make medical decisions on your behalf if you are ever unable to communicate your own wishes. During this call, we will discuss your specific situation, answer your questions about the Health Care POA, and confirm this service is the right fit for you. If you decide to move forward, you will receive an engagement letter to review and sign, along with an invoice for the remaining balance. Once that is complete, you will be sent a detailed questionnaire and a plain-language guide to help you think through every decision at your own pace. What to expect: A focused, unhurried conversation about what a Health Care POA does and why it matters Plain-language answers to any questions you have about agents, health care preferences, and advance directive instructions Clarity on next steps if you decide to move forward Who is this for? No office visit required. Just a focused, friendly conversation to make sure you leave with a clear path forward. The $50 consultation fee is credited toward your Health Care POA fee upon signing your engagement letter.
